UBUNTU-Dapper Drake-amd64 generic version got installed, but buggy. ati-pcie got configured, then installed fglrx from repository- works well
sound= on board ADI1986A 6-channel HD audio---working on some generic intel driver is buggy ('sob..sob..sob'), with a very high pitch sound whenever sound is activated like a continous whine of a puppy, (sob..sob...sob).
Lan=Realtek-'RTL8111B-GR' -gigabit lan working, probably on a generic driver, see i could send this msg to u on ubuntu.
