very old laptop with only 256MB of ram
works well enough under debian-Lenny/kde, after removing all unusefull services, consoles (alt-F[12] only), with a Hercules PCMCIA wifi card, alowing 45Kb/s load (the wifi card could do better but the PC bus not ;-) )
Other distribution like Mandriva 2009 or Kubuntu did not work well imediatly
the 82440MX Host Bridge is not recognised as "suported", but for sure it works well since my laptopp works !
i have never tested the modem so mybe it works, maybe not (2009-10-31 10:37:51)
